Dim3 was awarded its first international tender for homecare patients follow-up
Dim3, in partnership with a major homecare provider, was awarded the software part of a public tender on enteral nutrition for homecare patients in Italy.
Nutrow is Dim3’s Decision Support Software for optimization of Clinical Nutrition. The platform will be deployed to follow-up homecare patients receiving enteral tubing nutrition.
“We celebrate the commercialization of our Nutrow platform. We are particularly proud of this achievement because it’s an international acknowledgment. It confirms the market needs and the quality of the tool we have developed” said Jean-Claude Havaux, Dim3’ Founder and Chief Executive Officer
The platform will be initially deployed in the Liguria region, 200 patients will be daily followed up through Nutrow for a 3-year period. In the scope of the tender, more patients from other regions should also benefit from the platform in the coming months. In total, 1200 homecare patient might be included.
“Boosted by this first success, Dim3 has also participated to other public tenders in Italy and we are confident about the final outcomes. According to SINPE (Società Italiana di Nutrizione Artificiale e Metabolismo), in 2012, there were approximatively 20,000 homecare patients fed through enteral and parenteral routes. So there is a great potential market for Dim3” concludes Jean-Claude Havaux.
